Biografía de Hanya Yanagihara

Hanya Yanagihara (Los Ángeles, 1974) es una novelista, editora y escritora estadounidense de ascendencia asiática, reconocida por explorar temas de dolor, trauma, amistad y la condición humana.

Tras graduarse en el Smith College, trabajó en publicidad y se consolidó en el mundo editorial, llegando a ser Editora en Jefe de T: The New York Times Style Magazine.

Su obra literaria abarca tres novelas ambiciosas. Su debut fue "La gente en los árboles" (2013), pero alcanzó el éxito internacional con "Tan poca vida" (A Little Life, 2015), una novela aclamada por la crítica que fue finalista del Premio Booker. Su obra más reciente es "Al paraíso" (To Paradise, 2022).
